(More customer reviews)My cats love this. A lot of the other huge cat scratchers I looked at were exceptionally busy, but my cats and I like this because the platforms have space for cats to sit and roll around.

The directions leave a little something to be desired, but they got the idea across. Even though I managed to get it together without too much trouble, that's where it became a four-star instead of five-star experience.

One of the levels has a mouse hanging from an elastic string. The string is the perfect length that a cat on the level above it can pull the mouse up to itself, but not rest it on the platform, which kept my cats busy constantly trying to put it in front of them. Unfortunately, it worked a little too well and my cats had removed it within 12 hours of introducing the structure to the house. I can't really fault the manufacturer, you can only attach a tiny plastic item to a tiny elastic thread with so much force.
