(More customer reviews)I have this pump in use on my reef tank and it has been flawless for 3 years.When I first set up the tank I did not have a check valve in line with it and it sucked gravel back into it when shut off.The broke the ceramic impeller.It took about 10 minutes and a phillips screwdriver to change the impeller,and it was as good as new again.If you do not clean the impeller every year or so it will decrease its output.It really moves a lot of water, and pushes several hundred gallons per hour over 12 feet consistently for me. It is a lot quieter than the competition pumps but does make soem noise as expected.
