(More customer reviews)This product takes about 3-4 hours to build but considering it size not unreasonable. The instructions leave much to be desired but fortunately even without those it is not much of a problem to put together (this is reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars). Only a small degree of put-together skill is needed (analogous to putting together Ikea products of moderate complexity).

The product itself is well built (i.e., durable) and quite aesthetic. I have it in my living room and it just blends in. Definitely does not look cheap or tacky. Color and carpeting are also aesthetic.

Most importantly, cats love it. Great for scratching (cats immediately took to it) and for them to sleep on, both in the little tree house and on top of the upper posts. The porches on the posts have small wall like liner (instead of being naked) and this provides some security to cats sleeping on top (harder for them to fall off while sleeping).

All and all, for the price, a very good bargain.
