These are what makes the OVO system so great.

Not only do they connect one tube with another, but they LOCK.Not just the 'snap in' that happens with SAM and Crittertrail connectors.No, these literally lock - the tube will defy gravity and remain locked in whatever position you put it in.

Not only this, but they seem to be nearly completely escape-proof.My hamster has yet to figure out any way around these things, and she's a rodent-Houdini.If there's a way out, she'll figure it out.(oddly, she looks just like the banded hamster they have on the package!)

The only warning I can give is don't put too much weight onto just one connector, if you're building upward.Too much weight CAN pull the tube out of the connector, but it does take a bit before that happens.Always secure anything you're building above ground level with a tube on either side for extra support.
