(More customer reviews)I used to have four transformers that were connected to one spider shaped configuration that would tear at its plastic encasings (exposed wires) and was a pain in the neck to loosen and take off to clean the quartz sleeves and UV lights. This configuration where each transformer is independently plugged into the power source and separated from an attachment that connected all to one power source makes it simple to disconnect and it is "cleaner" looking cosmetically. If one transformer goes down you can replace it and not worry how the others are affected by its performance since they are all plugged into power source separately. I would highly recommend this product for your pond needs. I bought a large metal fuse box to enclose all of them to protect them from weather elements although they are made weather-proof already, I wanted to consolidate the tidiness of the cords.EJ Orange County, CA
