(More customer reviews)My title says it all. I used this product for securing our back chain-length fence. We rent and whoever put in the fence set the u-shaped latch a bit too far from the post it attaches to when closed so when it's windy here in Colorado which is quite often, the back gate swings open. This is a thick, heavy, sturdy double hook so don't buy it for some kind of delicate chain or clothesline and otherwise you should be pleased.
