(More customer reviews)I have a 75lb greyhound and this is big enough without being to heavy to take on the road with me and have him safe in a hotel.I just throw in a dog bed to the bottom of the crate.The stiff board that comes with it cracked the minute he stepped on it so I tossed that. That is my only complaint but a dog bed replacing it works great and is softer.

(More customer reviews)Bought this crate to use on my boat and for visiting family.12 week old Sheltie puppy has NOT chewed on it, she will hop in there on her own for a nap. Seems well made, though obviously due to the fabric nature of this item, a dog intent on chewing will be able to work his way out.That's what training and providing other chew toys is all about!

(More customer reviews)I was a bit taken aback by the price, but have to say that this crate is worth every penny. My 10 and 13 year old son's put it together with little issue. It's handle and wheel make it a dream to move. The molding and plush padding makes it lush, comfy and attractive and both the "garage door" and "sunroof" access is unlike any other wire crate out there. My 8 week old yellow lab, Bella Luna took to it like a duck to water. I bought the next to the largest size for dogs up to 70 lbs. The only complaint I have is that the crate does not come with a divider which you REALLY need when the puppy is small. In addition to not coming with a divider, because of the unique multi-door options that this crate has, conventional separators cannot be purchased as a sepatare acessory as none of them work without disabliling the use of the "garage door" or the "sun roof"...which are two of the best features about this crate in the first place!!I had to improvise and use a plastic storage crate on it's side to reduce the size of the living area to half so at the time that my 8 week old, 11 lb. puppy wouldn't use one end of their crate as her toilet. Other than the divider issue...FABULOUS. She is now 13 weeks old and 21 pounds and I have actually taken out my home-made divider so she is using the entire crate...half for sleeping, the other half holds her spill-proof water bowl and an array of her toys. ...This was a GREAT intvestment for my pup and will remain up and situated in our living area as her "personal crash pad/den" long after she is grown and housebroken.

(More customer reviews)We purchased this crate thru Amazon.com about 18 months ago and within 1 year, one of the rods supporting the top snapped and last weekend, a vertical support rod snapped, leaving me a need to figure out how to fix it or get a replacement as it sags quite a lot now.
If the rods were less fragile, then it was nearly perfect as it kept the hair contained (we have a 110 lb black lab) and it fit in the back of our Suburban quite nicely.Having him within a cage in the back of the truck made it much easier to control him while the hatch is open (packing or just fresh air) and allows us to pack bags around the cage (not so easy to do when there was a separator bar that he would just knock down.
No we cannot see out the back, but generally if the dog is with us, so is all our gear for a family of 5, so I cannot see out of the back anyway.
In our previous SUV, the hair seemed permanently attached to the roof liner without a cage, and now, there is never a hair outside the cage and we have a white truck with light interior.
It is heaver than I anticipated, but still easier to transport than the metal crate and easier on the interior of the truck and tent.
Tho I do miss being able to stack items on top of the cage when camping (when we brought the metal cage).
I "fixed" it by jamming two lengths of pvc pipe into the corners to support the roof and I have had no complaints since.

(More customer reviews)This crate is spacious, easily portable and appears to be well made.There is, however, some difficulty in placing the two support bars in their recepticles or removing them for folding.The product could be improved by allowing the machanism that adjusts the length of the support bars to shorten them a bit more so that the bars can be positioned without forcing them into their recipticles.I have identified another product that I believe will be a bit more user friendly and would have returned this item, but one of the dogs ripped the pocket in the carrying case.I will continue to use the crate, but I expect that this design flaw will continue to be an irritant as itdoes not appear that the material will stretch enough over time to allow easier placement of the bars.
