(More customer reviews)The photos on the site are representative of the cage and the quality is as expected.The assembly was more intuitive than necessary because the instructions are nothing but a bad drawing with no text and the picture on the outside of the box is a dark mess... so, refer to this website for photos of how it should look -- and you will need a helper to hold the seed-guard while putting it together.It will also help if you have small fingers to hold the nuts through the bars while screwing it all together.There was some damage to the box and some parts where bent, but not bad enough that plyers could not fix.Overall it is a good value.The 57 inch height is to the top perch, not the top of the cage itself, so calculate accordingly.

(More customer reviews)Picked the cage up from the terminal yesterday.
The Teamsters and the Carrier company would only bring it to the end of the truck and I would have to figure out how to get 367 lbs off the truck with no help from the driver (against union regulations)and go from there.
Instead I borrowed a pickup truck and went to the terminal and they loaded it in the bed of the pickup with their forklift which was the way to go.
The cage is well made, and we are delighted with that but the directions are of virtually no help.
You get one sheet that looks like it has been photocopied about 155 times, and after a while we just discarded them and used logic to put it together.
Took about an hour
There is no excuse when you are paying this much for an item for the directions to be this poor.
How expensive would it be to do it right???
It would take 15 minutes and you only have to do it once!!
But as you see I still give the product 4 stars as it is just what we wanted and the cockatoo loves itGary Hutchinson

(More customer reviews)This is the best birdcage I have ever purchased. It was so inexpensive! It is extremely sturdy and well-made. I bought this cage for my Amazon Parrot. It is a perfect fit for him. It comes with plenty of bowls. I did add perches. The tray is so easy to clean. The doors close securely. It was a little tough to put together. I don't know how other companies can get away with charging so much for cages.

(More customer reviews)This cage is perfect for one or two small birds (e.g., parakeets). I like the overall look/design and the fact that it's black so you can 'see' the birds better against the black wire. It a nice size too, except I wish it was a bit deeper, meaning more square in its overall 'footprint' size. The three small sliding doors work very well and the food containers have covers on them to keep out bird mess, etc. (a nice-to-have).The larger door that swings open is great too for rearranging perches, toys, etc. This cage also cleans easily. With the birds still in the cage, you simply 'squeeze' the cage off the plastic base and set it aside. Then clean the base, droppings tray and floor grid separately in the sink, then reverse the process to put it back together. I haven't used the stand. However, it looks like its constructed well, similar to the cage, albeit a bit short in height for a bird cage stand (probably can be about a 1/2 to a foot taller).Overall, a nice buy.

(More customer reviews)The birdcage comes unassembled - but is easy to put together. (30 minutes at the most)It is HUGE and my 2 Parakeets love all of the extra play area and the 4 perches! I can not beleive the low price for this item. At a store, I am sure I would have had to pay at least $150.00!
