(More customer reviews)If you are taking your pet on an airline, this is the only pet crate we could find that was truly "Airline Approved".

Most airlines require a plastic kennel that's bolted together with plastic or metal treaded screws (knob, clamp and clamshell locks are strictly forbidden on almost every airline), not top loading, allow for at least 1.5" of clearance from the sides on all sides, and vented on four sides.

This crate met all but one.The back of the carrier is not vented, but we solved that problem with a power drill and a 1/2" bit.27 holes later and you have a truly airline approved pet crate.

BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU'RE PUTTING FLUFFY OR FIDO ON AN AIRPLANE, BUY THIS KENNEL!
