(More customer reviews)This cage is like a rodent mansion.It houses our very happy rats.Although it is described as a ferret house it is a rat mansion.The space between the bars is bigger then the mouse cage so it would keep a mouse caged.But for our loving adult rats they are as content as can be.My only wish is that it had more then just the 2 shelves.3 shelves would be perfect. Easy to clean and all metal construction.
