(More customer reviews)I've had a few of these over the years, not because they don't last, but because the gerbils love to chew them, and they are sturdy enough that they are not chewed through.However, when I get a new set of gerbils, they get a new Timber Hide-A-Way.I've never had to buy more than one for each set of gerbils (and, in fact, could use the same one, but give them a new one anyway).They like to play in it and gnaw on it to keep their teeth short.
