(More customer reviews)This realistically ugly plastic log floats on the surface of the tank providing a hiding place for brooding mouthbrooders and chewed-on males.Like penn-plex's cliffs and caves, it provides a hiding place away from the prime territory at the tank bottoms, so the dominant males leave it alone.There are no suction cups to fail and it sits in a stable orientation and does not roll.It boast a "feeding hole", but I wouldn't use it.If the aggressive fish find food in they won't leave it alone.
