(More customer reviews)I purchased this item from seven seas aquariums and the item came to me broken. I called them, and as soon as I knew it they told me they'd have another shipped out as fast as possible. Thirty minutes to an hour later Fed Ex received my package. To say the least I was very happy with customer service.
As for the product, it's a very sleek looking addition to any tank. It is however intended to be used for the new Fluval Edge Aquariums. It's designed to fit right in the back middle part of the Fluval tank where it covers the filter. It has three different places where you can put plants or bamboo to accent the decoration. I've also hidden my bubbler behind it which makes the tank that much more put together.
Watch out for some sellers who are selling this item for $27 but the shipping cost is $44 or something astronomical. All in all it's a very cool product and I highly recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I have been looking to try to improve the quality of my three Betta fishes' lives. I recently read about Aquari-Sol on the website [...] and how it is used as a preventive measure against parasites and velvet for freshwater fish. I decided to order a bottle for my guys since I can't find it in the major pet store chains that I go to. I have been using 2 to 3 drops per tank for nearly two weeks. I have to say I am starting to see some results with two of my Betta fishes. My poor delta tail Ramses had not long ago started biting his tail and I am positive that was due to parasites. Now that I am using Aquari-Sol with every water change I do, I have noticed that my guy hasn't bitten his tail lately and it has slowly but surely healing nicely. With my red veil tail Anubis, he has been hiding a lot lately and not really active. He also would not come and greet me when I approached his tank for feeding time. Now he does and the little guy is a lot more active now. For freshwater fish owners I say Aquari-Sol is a must have. Just add it with a bit of aquarium salt according to the package and you will have a happy and healthy fish. Mine are certainly happy and healthy :-).

(More customer reviews)I was very skeptical getting this heater at first. Because first off, there were no reviews regarding this ANYWHERE. So I kinda took a shot in the dark buying this one after searching hours for a heater for my 2 gallon aquarium.
It may be more expensive than other heaters for small aquariums but so far.... I think it's worth it.
It's getting the job done. I love how it doesn't look tacky in my aquarium (I was worried it would look really bulky) but it blended in just fine. It has it's own holder (so you don't have to worry about it dangling in the aquarium like a rabid lizard) And my Betta fish loves it :)He's currently "resting" underneath it.
And I love how you can adjust the water temperature by actually seeing NUMBERS. Other heaters let you control the water temperature blindly and making you unplug it when the water gets too hot (which in my opinion, is fish murder). This heater has an automatic switch so it turns of by itself when it gets to the desired water temperature.
Safe to say, SO FAR, this is the best heater I've had. =)

A lot of us weather buffs who own the Davis Vantage Pro 2 private weather station have used it for this purpose.Since the heated cord is very flexible, it can be coiled around the interior side of the rain bucket and the 25 watts adds just enough heat to melt the snow that would otherwise freeze and clog the rain bucket.

(More customer reviews)These kind of infrared emitting devices are the best and probably cheapest way for heating up a cold-blooded animal, simply because it heats the animal from the inside out and thoroughly, meaning no hot spots that might potentially burn your pet(s). Very durable and long lasting, it'll last for years unless of course very misused. I currently have a 40 gallon one and it has lasted since the beginning. I have submerged it in water(accidently, giant water bowl bursted) and it still works flawlessly. It is a fantastic heater. However, if you are looking for something that'll heat the whole tank and create a more humid climate for your pet, than a search on, preferrably the ZooMed undertank heater.
