(More customer reviews)I have this pump in use on my reef tank and it has been flawless for 3 years.When I first set up the tank I did not have a check valve in line with it and it sucked gravel back into it when shut off.The broke the ceramic impeller.It took about 10 minutes and a phillips screwdriver to change the impeller,and it was as good as new again.If you do not clean the impeller every year or so it will decrease its output.It really moves a lot of water, and pushes several hundred gallons per hour over 12 feet consistently for me. It is a lot quieter than the competition pumps but does make soem noise as expected.

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these, and they work well, but there is a 1 deg F difference between both of them, so I am not sure which is right but if one degree accuracy is good enough for you this is a perfect little product at a cheap price.BTW it seems to take at least one minute between samples so dont expect sudden changes if you put it in the palm of your hand or in ice water.Thats a good quality if your using it on Aquariums or anything involving live animals.

(More customer reviews)I started using this product about a year ago after a fellow fish keeper recommended it. This product has helped me keep very small plecos I purchased. I used to have trouble keeping the smaller of these -1 1/2 to 2 inch size but not anymore! Also, even if the ph drops in a tank it's hard to tell by their (the fishes) behavior with chemi pure. Usually I'd have ammonia with a low ph but not so far with chemi pure. I would recommend it to anyone.
