It comes with a 10 gallon glass aquarium, whisper power filter 10,biobag filter catridge, fluorescent bulb, and also a small sample of AquaSafe and TetraMin food flake from Tetra. These are reasons why you should have this aquarium to start with:
1)The 10 gallon deluxe kit is all complete set to start with. I opened up the box, unpacked everything, read the manual for minutes and poof, my aquarium is all-ready! The filter is smooth, quiet and works efficiently.
2)The fluorescent light is all enough to lighten every angle of your aquarium. It can also gives some heats to your aquarium and really looks shining and bright during the nights.
3)After running it for a day, I add the gravels, live plants, Tetra AquaSafe to treat the tap water, also i bought a bacteria supplement from pet store to introduce the tank with useful bacterias.
4)After finishing step 4, I went to PetSmart and bought 4 guppies. I put them all in the aquarium and they swim in it happily. The temperature is already around 68-74F, without using heater. So, the fish are happy.
Conclusions, this Tetra 10 Deluxe kit is awesome! Buy it for your kids or yourself for full satisfaction!

(More customer reviews)so I ordered this just to control the amount of air being pumped into my fishbowl (if the pump was going full plast the poor little guy would be sent whriling around the bowl). It works pretty well. The knob sometimes slipps off if you turn it too far and there isnt' anything to anchor the tube to anything outside the bowl. There are several control valves and an equal number of splitters to divide the airflow to extra bowls.I'd reccomend this only if you have two fish bowls or just want to regulate the air flow to one bowl.

Mini up to 10 gallon 2-40 GPH 2-1/2" x 1-3/8" x 5-3/4"
DJ-50 10 gallon 13-66 GPH 3-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 5-1/2"
DJ-100 20 gallon 27-92 GPH 3-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 7-1/4"
These filters have all the necessities: a prefilter/mechanical, a biological filter, a carbon/chemical filter and an air intake that allows the air to mix with the water that comes out of the spout. It is also an extremely quiet filter as long as you keep the pour spout below the water line (to prevent the sound of the water splashing). The only slight problem that I can find is that a tiny amount of air leaks around the seal between the filter media container and the top section, but this isn't a big deal since the water level will almost always be lower then this seal. It's also an efficient filter that produces less heat then most others.
You can use the filter as a pump by removing the pour spout and plugging in a hose that has an inner diameter of 1/2".

pretty easy, convenient, and quick to perform tests.no test tube or droppers needed!
I have another test kit that tests other factors, and it is annoying to count the drops, shake, and check the color.This one tester is easier and more convenient to use.Only 4 factors on this tests is pertinent to a reef tank: nitrate, nitrite, ph, hardness/kh.However, I can test all 4 in the same time that it would take for me to count drops for a single test.
After a while, I got used to the husbandry needs of the tank.I can typically tell by the water quality by looking at the corals.
Once in a while I like to test the water to make sure, but typically, everything is in good shape.For these times, I also take a single test and cut it up into 2-3 smaller strips to use less.These seems to work fine, however, it is noteworthy to know that less water is probably being sampled, and it may be a not be an accurate measurement.So far, I have not noticed any problems.
Some of the colors are difficult to distinguish, so if anyone has any problems with matching shades of color, this can be difficult.At least when you count the drops, you can get a more accurate measurement (however, in some of the drop test, you still have to compare different shades of colors).
On of the difficult color readings in this tester is the ph, I have difficulty in distinguishing the readings.However, with a small nano tank and the amount of water I change every week, the kh level is normal which makes me less concerned on which of the 2 shades that my ph is in.

(More customer reviews)I needed a little more bubble for my 50 gal fish tank.I ordered this pump from Amazon and at first it was amazing!Quiet enough and tons of bubbles.I use the bubbles just to circulate and break the surface because the tank is a tall deep cube with a canister filter.
After a few weeks the pump began to make horrible noise.I found that the magnets in the pump part were rubbing. I took it apart and used a rasp and my dremel tool to file down the part which was making the noise.I then added a dab of silicone sewing oil to it and reassembled it.Now it has been running quietly and efficiently for several months.I have no complaints and it was a good price, especially with free 2 day shipping.
