(More customer reviews)I have a 29-gal fish tank with a couple of large goldfish.I have been using the Emperor 480 filter system for years.I've tried the no-name brand filters for it, but none compare to the name brand of Marineland Emperor.It seems to last longer between replacements and is a much better product than the other name brands.
Shipping was quick and not damaged.Very satisfied!

(More customer reviews)Perfecta light is okay.Not like the way they used to make them 15 years ago.This time around a the light is slightly smaller than before and you may not fit 2 at a time on a 55 gallon tank. It is a cheaper composite of plastic also, because the density isn't there.Otherwise a good standard light.I've always know perfecta lights to be high quality.Today, I realize I may change my opinion.

(More customer reviews)My 55 Gallons Fish tank with my 8 year old gold fishes moved with me several places over the years and my tank and heater survived all these years, but recently on a one cold winter morning while I was changing water on my fish tank the old heater's thermostat gave way and overheated the heater and it blew into pieces, Thankfully I was quick enough to disconnect power and save myself and my fishes.
This made me hunt for a new Aquarium heater, Came across this heater and I am glad that I made a good decision in buying it.
As the packing indicates "It's all about your fishes", If you love your fishes, you will pay for a heater to keep them comfortable during cold winter times, The Aqueon 150 Watt Heater which is reviewed here works well for tank gallons upto 55.
PROS:
[+]Well packaged and comes with all the accessories (Suction Cups) to mount inside the fish tank.
[+]Goes well with any aquarium due to the clear glass housing and fishes do not mind it.
[+]Can be mounted vertically or horizontally fully submersed into the fish tank.CONS:
[-]It is shatter resistant but not really shatter-proof, you still need to be careful while changing water in the tank if the room temperature is below 68F.
[-] As this is only 150Watt heater, it takes considerably long time to heat the tank full of water for the first time use (generally more than 12-24 hrs)The only reason this product did not get 5 stars is that it took a long time to heat my 55 gallon tank when compared with other Aquarium heaters I have used before.

ALWAYS disconnect Aquarium heater's power plug before putting your hand into water for cleaning or water changing no matter how safe the product may be.
Aqueon Aquarium heaters are made in Italy! They come with Lifetime warranty! It is slightly pricey than other Aquarium heaters in the market (just by few dollars) But these heaters are very accurate when it comes to maintaining temperature for the fish tank in use.

(More customer reviews)For the rare occasion that your Bio-Wheel gets damaged (they don't ever need replacing if they are in working condition), this replacement filter wheel is top-notch. I picked one up a few weeks ago because I downgraded to a smaller fish tank with a filter that required a Bio-Wheel that I didn't have anymore. The wheel works in the Penguin 99B filter, as well as the Marineland/Aqua-Tech Hex 5, and the Eclipse system 5 hex tank. Very versatile bio-wheel that fits most small tank filter assemblies. Also, the seller (OzBo) was great, and had super fast shipping.
